This exhibition, curated from The Ballinglen Arts Foundation Permanent Collection has the consistent theme of place. These atmospheric paintings and drawings demonstrate the deep attachment the artist feels and develops, to time spent in this place. The passion of light on everyday surroundings is very evident and very much part of the Mayo landscape. Many familiar buildings and places are included in this exhibition all created by a selection of Irish and international artists. The vernacular buildings of this rural area is captured and recorded in a realist and varied way just waiting to be viewed. Do come and see!
